I have been a dealer for more than 40 years. A native of New England, I started out, as most of us, as an avid collector of paint, Shaker, stoneware, textiles, folk art, and Staffordshire. I was raised in Massachusetts and have deep antiquing roots there. I spent 10 years in Tennessee . I currently live in beautiful Pennsylvania. The move was a bit of a downsize so I am downsizing my own collections. I have been doing shows in the Midwest and returning to New England for new merchandise. Another Large Early Patriotic Bunting Lot
Nice lot of 2 different gauze pattern bunting. The one with stars is approximately 22”x 6 yards. Nice color a few stains but shows well Paper stuck to it but it could be spot soaked off. It is not as white as the other. It is more ecru color.The other is red white and blue stripes about 34” wide x 7 yards.Has a large stain but spot cleaning would probably work .I would not recommend washing because some of these early ones are not color fast. Could use a good ironing. Both display well.
