There are only a handful known of Pleasantville, New Jersey stoneware script jugs such as this one. George Washington Leech operated a general store in Pleasantville in the early 1900's. Attributed to Fulper Pottery of Trenton and Flemington, NJ circa 1900, this one-gallon jug is in excellent condition. There are just a few flaws that were from the kiln, mainly a glazed-over chip at the shoulder as shown. Wonderful vibrant blue hand-done script under a Bristol glaze. 11" tall x 6 3/4" diameter.

10" tall x 10" long pair of lace-up ladies' light brown shoes that date to the early 1900's. There is crazing to the upper leather parts but a treatment of shoe polish would improve this I am sure. The soles and heels show very little wear, probably because they were impossible to wear because of the narrowness of the toe box! Makes for a great display!!
