I have been buying and selling 18th and 19th century country antiques for approximately 35 years concentrating in early paint, iron, lighting, and items to be found in the early kitchen. For the past several years I have shown in the Nan Gurley antique shows.
Here is a nice old document or table box with wire closure and wire hinges. It is in its original Windsor green paint. The box measures 10 inches across the front, 5 1/2 inches from front to back and 4 1/2 inches deep.

Here are two offerings. The small Teddy Bear has glass eyes and jointed arms, legs, and head. It is 4 in long.. The Teddy is in good used condition and original bow. ($55 shipping included) The Dice and container is 1 1/8 in in diameter and 3/4 inches high. The dice and container are in good used condition, I believe the dice container is maple.

Here (3) three wooden butter stamps each with a different fern design. They measure 3 3/4 in. to 3 1/2 in. in diameter. All are in very good condition.

Here is a wonderful 18th c single tin candle sconce with the punched design of a shield on the back plate. The top of the sconce has a crimped design, It is cleated on the underside, It is in very good used condition and measures 14 in. tall, 4 3/4 in. wide and 4 in. out from the wall.

Here is a fabulous blue painted mortar and pestle dating from the early 19th century. It has the original blue paint with appropriate wear, The pestle has traces of blue paint. It measures 7 1/2 inches high with a top diameter of 5 1/2 in, Lay a way is available.

Here is a nice 5" Holy Bible, Old and New Testaments translated out of The Original Tongues. Published in NY 1862. This bible is embossed Henry A Wilson, on the cover. It is signed by Henry Wilson, given to him by his mother in 1862. This book is in very good condition. It has a 1/4 " piece of covering off of the top of the spine otherwise there are no breaks or tears.

This 18th century Rush Light with Candle Socket / Counterweight, Tabletop, Tripod Base, Spade Feet is by an unknown maker. It measures 11 inches tall and is 4 inches wide. It has allover pitting, good color, and functioning jaws. ( I believe that the "make-do" candle holder is really the counterweight and it has been used as a light by fastening ( melting wax and using this as the" glue" ) to hold the candle in place.

This early painted (red over blue) rectangular storage basket measures 7 in long by 5 inches from front to back and 3 inches deep. It is a nice early shade of red with some blue peeking through where the red has worn off. It is in very good condition with just a bit of the lashing around the top missing. I think the design is called plaiting.

Here is a nice old tinned double sconce with seamed candle cups and a heart punched back piece. it is circa mid 19th c. The sconce measures 8 1/2 inches wide, and 13 inches long. it has a nice old patina.
