NEW ITEMS I have been buying and selling 18th and 19th century country antiques for approximately 35 years concentrating in early paint, iron, lighting, and items to be found in the early kitchen. For the past several years I have shown in many of the antique shows throughout New England.
This wrought iron beam spike is in the form of a bird. These are used to hang a betty lamp when not in use. The spike end was driven into the beam. It measures 4 1/2in in length and 41/2 in. High. Good condition.

This wrought iron broiler was commonly used in the 17th and 18th c . It was used to broil meat which was laid on it, the handle is a single piece of iron and fitted with 2 sets of legs. It measures 22 inches long with a 9 inch diameter. Good used condition. Shipping is included.

Here is a great old painted native American basket. A small red over blue painted basket in very good used condition from my own collection. It measures 7 1/8 in. Long, 5in wide and 3 in.tall. please ask if you would like more photos.

In the early days when no electricity toaster was available, homemaker used this type of rotating toaster. It was set near the coals and when one side was toasted it was rotated to toast the other side. This toaster has decorative features as the loops are twisted and there is a central decoration. It measures 17 in. Long and 13 in. Wide. Very good used condition.

Nice old loom light hung by the loom so the weaver could see more easily. It is 15 inches long, has a twisted design to the stem with a nice old candle cup

3 pantry boxes painted with a design. These are old boxes. All in good condition with tight sezms. The smallest 6 in. Diameter is blue with yellow band, the sage green 7 in. Also has yellow design with white And the largest 8 in. Black with red and gold trim. All in good used condition.

Circa 1800 _ 1850 Pennsylvania origin decorative pot lid has a Rooster shaped handle which is peened. The lids were made to cover jars of previously cooked foods. Rather than seal them with layers of lard or oil to preserve the food and keep insects and rodents out wrought iron lids were fashioned to cover the jars or pots. It measues 5 1/2 in. In diameter. The surface of these covers were chased with a design which adds to the decoation. These lids can be found in IRON AT WINTERTHUR by Donald L. FENNIMRE.

Large decorative beam spike used in 18th 19th c to hold a grease lamp. The spike is 6 in. Long, the hook that holds the lamp is approx. 5 in. Long. The metal is formed into hearts and fern. This is 8" tall and 9 1/2" wide. In excellent condition.

This heavy iron utensil rack is nearly 20 in. Long.and 6 inches from bottom of hood to top of decoration. It has 5 large hooks. This piece was purchased in PA. It is in the original finish and excellent condition.

Here is a great patriotic painted wood measure. This is the same one used in my shop name. It is I believe a quart measue, thick walled, unsigned, and in great condition. It measures 8 3/4 " top diameter and 5 1/4" tall. The seam is tight, no cracks. No chips, guaranteed old. The paint is obviously not original but approx. 20 yrs. Old.
