NEW ITEMS I have been buying and selling 18th and 19th century country antiques for approximately 35 years concentrating in early paint, iron, lighting, and items to be found in the early kitchen. For the past several years I have shown in many of the antique shows throughout New England.
C1750 WROUGHT IRON BROILER
This is the early wrought iron "Easel," type broiler sometimes referred yo and a Harmon or Scottisn Broiler. These broilers came from America. England, and Scotland. They were used next to the burned down coals of a wood fire to cook meat and fish and toast slices of bread. This broiler is 13 3/4in. tall and 13 4/4 in. wide. It was made with a decorative scroll .

19THC SIGNED WROUGHT IRON SPATULA
This wrought iron spatula signed by M. COX an American metal smith, features iron "mushroom" or Mush.spatula shaped with a double diamond handle, a tound hanger, and a heat shaped blade. It measures 13 3/4in. Long.

IRON LONG HANDLE LADLE AND STRAINER
Two long handled iron iron ladle abd strainer. These are in great shape. Each measure 20 in. Long . The strainer bowl is 6 in. Wide and the ladle 6 in. Wide. They both have loops at the end for hanging.

1750 _1800 WROUGHT IRON TOASTER
In the early days when no electricity toaster was available, homemaker used this type of rotating toaster. It was set near the coals and when one side was toasted it was rotated to toast the other side. This toaster has decorative features as the loops are twisted and there is a central decoration. It measures 17 in. Long and 13 in. Wide. Very good used condition.

NATIVE AMERICAN PAINTED BASKET
Here is a great old painted native American basket. A small red over blue painted basket in very good used condition from my own collection. It measures 7 1/8 in. Long, 5in wide and 3 in.tall. please ask if you would like more photos.

LG. BETTY LAMP BEAM HOOK W HEARTS
Large decorative beam spike used in 18th 19th c to hold a grease lamp. The spike is 6 in. Long, the hook that holds the lamp is approx. 5 in. Long. The metal is formed into hearts and fern. This is 8" tall and 9 1/2" wide. In excellent condition.

RED WHITE BLUE PAINTED MEASURE
Here is a great patriotic painted wood measure. This is the same one used in my shop name. It is I believe a quart measue, thick walled, unsigned, and in great condition. It measures 8 3/4 " top diameter and 5 1/4" tall. The seam is tight, no cracks. No chips, guaranteed old. The paint is obviously not original but approx. 20 yrs. Old.
