I am Sherry Spehar. My business,Jacob Dorn Dairy Farm,is named after my great grandfather.He was a dairy farmer in Huntington, W Va from the 1890's to the 1940's, when he retired in his 90's.His motto became mine, "best stock, lowest prices, terms to suit ". Measures about 5 1/2" long, 1" high, and 4 1/2" high.Excellent and complete condition.Colors are great and tin body has some rubbing.Winds up to show flapping wings and legs moving and wheels move it along on your picnic table.Possibly made by Lehmann.

Measures are all approx, 16 1/2" long, 11 " w, and 4"deep.Very smooth from use.A burn mark with 3 cracks on the inside from possibly cooking.A good big bowl with character.

About 10" , heavy with a small amount of tarnish.From Virginia, 1800's.Sugar used to come in chunks, so would need to be nipped or broken off to size.I have an old grained table top sugar chest from Pa that these nippers would lay on top.

Measures 10" long, 6 1/4" wide, and 2 1/2" high.Great bold grain.Thinly carved.Rim chip.Most likely from the early 1900's judging from the patina on the chip.All light areas are camera glare.On the back, the mark is from a sticker.Blends in nicely with burled items.

Very heavy coverlet with fringe on 3 sides and a center seam.Measures about 76" wide and 94" long not including the fringe.Some scattered repairs patches.The colors are exuberant blue, rust and cream.Price reflects repairs and patches.A second dark blue patch appears in the top left corner.

Pictures look to be processed from earlier pictures.Photographers would often take double portraits and keep one behind in the studio for future images.The younger woman appears in 1860's dress, while the older woman more in 1850's dress.These came many years ago from a farm estate sale in Mason, Michigan.Both in very good condition.They measure abt 8 1/2" tall by 6 1/2 wide.

Measures 11" L x 4" wide.Made from oak or chestnut. Shows curvature from repeated wear.From the same collection as the tinder that was for sale a couple of weeks ago.Old chip at the top of the scoop, no other issues.

Measures 9" w x 5" h. Impressed on the inside is "Daniel Manufactured Wilton, N H. The Cragin has worn off.The paint is original and has wear.The tacks are all present.

10" Plate in very good condition, no cracks or chips just a small of foxing.Made by T Furnival and Sons.Impressed with Furnival on the back.The transferware consists of a beaver eating some maple leaves.The border is a bushy wreath of maple leaves , typical Canadian symbol.Made for the Canadian trade, 1871-1890.

Measures 8" long, 7" wide, and 4" high.Original darkly oxidized red paint on pine.The design is floral with "Anno 1807". Fat dovetailed construction.The lid's edges are well worn after almost 220 years of being slid back and forth and has shrunk with age.Heavy for its size.Purchased from a Wisconsin dealer a few years back, with other red wooden items.

Measures 5" wide by 2 1/2 " high.Hinges are fine.An old piece of paper lines in the inside bottom.A tiny piece of the end stick that goes into the clasp has broken off.It is possible that the outside trunk has been slightly varnished.Circa 1920-1930.Also, possible Native American fancy goods for the tourist trade.

Measures 6 1/2" wide and 3 1/2 " wide.High sided. 2 stress cracks.Great deep grain. Burn mark shown in the last picture, is the method of shaping the excess from the bowl.

Measures about 11 1/2" wide and 5 1/2" tall.Intact with brass hinges, lock plate with an eagle impressed lock cover.Clean.Inside lid label shows A M McDonald Comp, Boston, Mass maker of small trunks like these and ladies accessory cases.Burgundy leather case and handle are in excellent condition.A small strip of leather is missing from the lid.
