A5784- This country store door bell is in excellent uncleaned condition. It is made of iron and brass with the remnants of black paint on the iron parts. The brass bell is marked “J S” and has a very nice tone. 7” high the bell itself is 2” X 2 1/4”

A4328- This small burl bowl is in excellent condition with a very nice patina. The burl pattern is somewhat uneven but still good. I would date it to the early 19th century.The size is 5 1/4” X 1 7/8” More pics available.

These are a set of seven Victorian opalescent glass tiebacks. The shafts seem to be pewter. One has some damage to the hole the shaft goes through and a bent screw. The other six are in excellent condition with only some minor edge roughness on a few. 2 1/4” Dia. With 2 1/4” shafts

A6060- This 19th century storage box is decorated with green and dark blue sponged paint. The top has a transfer print of Harvard College (not decoupage). The tray from the inside is missing and there is a shrinkage crack on the top. Otherwise the condition is very good with only minor wear. The box was professionally cleaned and touched up April 2007. The image on the top is known as the Davis-Pendleton View of Harvard and dates from 1828. This item came from the Backofen Collection which was sold in New Hampshire by William Smith Auctions June 29, 2007. Size 17 3/4” w X 6 3/4” h X 9 1/2” d. Included with this wonderful piece is a full color auction catalog, extensive research papers on the image, Newtown Bee articles about the auction and the receipt for the restoration. A5485- This 19th century hand painted cigar case is in very nice condition for its age. The only real problem is the leather between the two sides has deteriorated as shown in the picture. The two halves are still attached. 5 3/8” X 2 7/8”
