Wonderful early wallpaper box. New England, 19th century. Beautiful floral wallpaper, lined with Barnstable Journal newspaper, dated 1832 with many Cape Cod town articles listed. Minor overall wear as expected from age, spots of wallpaper missing on edges of lid. Very sturdy for cardboard wallpaper box. Measures 13" x 9 3/4" x 5 3/4" high.
