Nice Revolutionary War Era canteen. Oak staved with iron bands. Nicely attached wrought iron chain strap. One iron band is loose but held in place by strap and staves are tight. Nice dark patina, varnish applied at some point to entire surface. Measures 6 1/4" wide, 6 1/4"-7" diameter.
